Dancer's Review:
Yesterday's Diwali Mela performance is definitely an experience to remember. We were at the cotton bowl circle right from 4pm and did not get on stage until 8pm..It was cold and I was starving but all those feelings dissapeared as soon as I got on stage..The crowd had increased to about 1000 people by 8pm, we had the stage lights on and the music was turned up. One thing I learned yesterday was that.. the music volume that a performer actually listens on stage is very different from what the audience hears..It was a little hard to listen to the music as I danced but all the crowd cheers and screams compensated for that :) :)..Yesterday's show was all a performer could ask for- large stage, great lights, pumped up music and of course a fantastic crowd! Go Blue Flame!
