December 26, 2011 - Gold Dance Company competes at Winter Wonderland

Winter Wonderland in it's final year after a 10 year legacy did a wonderful job hosting their last Winter Wonderland.

October 22, 2011 - SMU Diwali Show

PLATINUM ELITE Team had their first performance of the season at SMU Diwali show on October 22, 2011, at Hughs Triggs Theater.

Once again, SMU ISA puts on a fantastic show.  The entire event was well executed, plenty of food and water for the dacners at the stage rehearsal the night before as well as at the event itself.  The show was sold out and overflowing, so they had an additional room with live feed of the show showing on a giant screen so the participants and overflow audience could watch the show comfortably.  Decorations were beautiful.  All of the ISA members present clearly worked hard and were very helpful. SMU ISA, you guys ROCK, and are so committed to your events, Blue Flame loves you!

Great job to our dancers.  We put together the performance in a couple of weeks, and all of our new members got to perform on stage for the first time this season, and they did a fantastic job. :)  To our dancers who practiced in their own time and worked really hard for this performance: it showed... great job!

As ususal, Blue Flame closed down the dance floor, and even after everyone was gone, we had a blast singing at the top of our lungs and dancing like maniacs.  Singing everything from OLD OLD school "shayad meri shaadi ka khayal" to "teri meri" from body guard, we did our best to keep the SMU ISA committee entertained as they stayed up late taking down all of the decorations and cleaning up.  Eventually we had to get kicked out :( .  Who would have thought a bollywood party at a university can't last all night? 

Memorable night, won't ever forget it.

HAPPY DIWALI to all... and great thanks to the Almighty for bringing this team together who has become like a 2nd family to me.
